About Us:

In late 2006, Richie Frieman put pen to paper and developed PensEyeView.com...it all starts with a pen, paper and a vision.

When three friends with the same passions and goals get together, something great is bound to happen. This is the story of how PensEyeView.com started and continues to grow today. With featured artists, musicians and visionaries from five continents, over a dozen countries and countless cities, PensEyeView.com is creating a global community built from a worldwide mix of pop culture.

Beginning April 1, 2007, PensEyeView.com has showcased a different and unique artist, musician, painter, visionary, etc. every 48 hours. The featured person(s) will be interviewed using twenty questions (aka - the "XXQs") and have their work displayed for the world to see. PensEyeView.com is an open platform for all genres of literary and artistic work. And, it's free! From musicians and sculptors to comedic writers and photographers...you name it, we'll have it. PensEyeView.com will not announce who will be featured the next day - you will just have to visit us to check out the new talent!

What does PensEyeView mean?
Regardless of the profession or medium, it all starts with a pen, a paper and a vision. You can stare at the paper all day, write and draw until your hand cramps and rack your brain for answers, but once your pen hits the paper, your heart, soul and vision is shown right there in ink. At the end of the day, you can't deny what is on that paper...and you can't hide from those raw emotions. It is from that vision that we developed PensEyeView.com

We hope you enjoy PensEyeView.com as much as we enjoy building it every day. Let us know what you think.

Richie Frieman, President, PensEyeView.com
Born: April 21, 1979
Hometown: Baltimore, MD
He said it: "As an artist myself, I live by the PensEyeView. I love meeting people from all over the globe and sharing their talents with the world. There is never a shortage of creative minds and PensEyeView is proof of that."

Bio: Believing that everything starts with a pen, paper and a vision, Richie Frieman launched PensEyeView.com on April 1, 2007. The day was a culmination of plenty of hard work, "It was a lot of sleepless nights...too many to count," recalls Frieman. "I would constantly wake up in the middle of the night with an idea or concept to make the magazine better."

Since those first sleepless nights, Frieman has spoken to some of the greatest artists in our culture today; Singers, songwriters, painters, sculptors, fashion designers and visionaries of all kinds. "I am fascinated by people's stories, and that is what I want PensEyeView to showcase. Imagine what it would have been like to sit down for a beer with the Beatles when they were just four hopeful young chaps in England...That is what I want people to feel when they read our interviews."

Aside from PensEyeView.com, Richie is also a children's book artist and illustrator, with his first written and illustrated book, "Terple"- about a courageous turtle who dreams of life outside of the pond, due out in mid January of 2008, off Amazon.com. Richie also has four other books scheduled for release in 2008 on a series based upon his original characters Jake and his best friend-his dog, Camden. As well, one more educational book he will illustrate and write for Flipping For Phonics (due out, winter 2008). As an artist, Richie has created two public works of art in Maryland in the past two years. And in 2000, a life-long dream for Richie and Kenny Harmon (PensEyeView.com-Director of Communications) came true: They made their debut as professional wrestlers. The two have won dozens of tag team championships, in the U.S. over the past seven years, as Richie - "The Thrill From Israel" Buster Maccabi and Kenny - Apollo Cruz, together they were called Xtreme Pandemonium. Frieman also garnering three singles titles along the way. Frieman received his B.S. from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2001. Kenny Harmon, Director of Communications, PensEyeView.com
Born: September 8, 1979
Hometown: Baltimore, MD
He said it: "I love artists that make me want to get up and take action. PensEyeView.com has been blessed with these kinds of talented artists since day one - and I find something exceptional behind every single one of them."

Bio: Ken Harmon runs the communication boards of PensEyeView.com; the company he heard so much about during its early stages of development from long-time friend, Richie Frieman. "Richie would update me on a regular basis about the site while it was under construction," says Harmon. "I saw how hard he was working and wanted to do what I could to help. Now that I've put in my fair share of sleepless nights, I can say it's been a lot of fun being a part of the success that is PensEyeView."

Harmon spends much of his time researching new talent to invite to the pages of PensEyeView.com. He also keeps up with fans of the site through the PEV MySpace page. "Being a part of PensEyeView has given me a glimpse into the lives of so many artists I would have otherwise never known existed. It also allows me to connect with fans that share a similar passion."

Aside from PensEyeView.com, Kenny is an accomplished long distance runner, just recently completing the Baltimore Marathon. He also teams up with Frieman to form one of the better known tag teams on the east coast independent professional wrestling circuit, Xtreme Pandemonium winning over a dozen tag team championships together over the past seven years. Harmon also served in the United States Navy from 1997 - 2002, rising to the rank of Petty Officer Second Class.

Walter Zalis, Head of Creative Development, PensEyeView.com
Born: November 19, 1982
Hometown: Baltimore, MD
He said it: "I've written and worked in a variety of environments that have allowed me to be creative on some level. PensEyeView however has swung open the door to new and exciting possibilities; ones I hope to explore as the company grows and matures."

Bio: Walter Zalis is responsible for much of the content on both PensEyeView.com and the PEV MySpace page. Zalis joined the company after spirited discussions with both Richie Frieman and Kenny Harmon; "It's so hard to find the kind of passion, dedication and responsibility that they had," says Zalis. "I had been working on some side projects for some time, and it was invigorating to find individuals who matched my enthusiasm to make things happen."

Since joining up with PensEyeView, Zalis has researched and wrote about most of the artists featured on the site. He also works with Frieman and Harmon to create the PensEyeView "webisodes," and is the current PEV editor. "I've had a lot of fun using my abilities to help fulfill the mission of PensEyeView. It's a concept anyone can appreciate, and everyone should check out."

Aside from PensEyeView.com, Walter is a freelance commentary writer and avid weight lifter. He has written for a variety of online and print publications about music, politics and the social atmosphere. He met good friends Harmon and Frieman in 2001 in - you guessed it - the squared circle. Walter has been wrestling professionally since 2001 and has won multiple singles championships. Zalis received his B.A. from McDaniel College in 2005, and his M.A. from American University in 2006.
